Default H/H Duncan HM as Elementalist primary

I've been able to do Duncan HM with H/H, just looking for an easier way. I've done it with two builds so far.

1) Tried out Sacratus Ignis's Ursan + RoJ + VoR + SS build. This works, just rather painful, since Lo Sha likes to run forward to cast Arcane Conundrum and so break aggro. Don't know if there's a way to prevent this - if there is I'm not aware of it.

2) Tried my own Lingering Curse + SS + VoR build. This works, screenshot here: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/750/gw099c.jpg Only problem is that it looks like I was particularly lucky this screenshot, because the next time I tried it it was very very easy to make a mistake and came close to wiping a few times with FS up. Olias wound up with 60 DP, and if I mistakenly aggro two Restless Dead popups = death.

Main problems are that the henchmen can be remarkably good at kiting (moving forwards instead of back ...), and the heroes don't exploit corses fast enough (this, together with the Stone Summit Summoner hanging far back, does lead to minion swarms sometimes). I don't want to get teammates - not only is it hard to do with the VS farming, it's hard to get PuGs to trust me, and since there's the real chance of wiping it's hard to get PuGs to not ragequit. I also don't want to use consumables since I don't have the money to spare.

So yeah looking for an easier way or improvements to the build, especially since chances are Lingering Curse will be nerfed next balance update. I'm thinking of replacing it with Soul Bind, but I'm not sure ... suggestions?

[Diversion] is pretty good at stopping the restless deads. Whenever i do duncan HM, i try to bring at least one copy.

another thing i used to do was insted of [spiteful spirit], bring [spoil victor] along with [well of blood] to get rid of the bodies. you have to manually activate the well to beat their minion masters to the corpses.

also try bringing enchant removals for their monks.

Bump ...

Last balance update made this dungeon even harder than before, with Lingering nerfed (yeah baby) and Strength of Honor buffed (yeah baby). My original build still works, but it's now even more of a knife edge than ever ... fail once and it gets REALLY hard to come back. The first mob is the hardest one in the dungeon and pretty insane: balanced, 8-man, includes 2 Warriors 2 Monks 1 MM 1 Illusion Mes 1 Ward 1 Taint. The pressure they output is remarkable; the only thing they don't have is Lingering Curse.

I'm thinking of trying BSurge myself with Aegis, since their damage comes largely from the physicals and minions once they are animated. But then it's really rather daring to trust outhealing all that damage to henchmen. I've also thought of Spoil Victor, but the skill is largely useful against Duncan only and doesn't help that much with the Stone Summit mobs ... anyone have any more suggestions?

PnH prot(since I played sin) + VoR (with Diversion) + SS (with FS, with Verata's Gaze for minions).

I had lots of DP as well since I didn't know the popup locations. And because of the pnh nerf, the hexes would probably eat me if I tried the dungeon again.

Bump again ... another nerf to Lingering, and Suffering to boot. I don't think the Suffering nerf is that major, but the nerf to Lingering certainly stops you from running both Suffering + Lingering and forces a pretty major change in build.

Any more suggestions? I think Verata's Gaze is a great idea, although it might be even better to use the newly-buffed Paras and Rits. There aren't too many bad hexes for a pure caster team, just Arcane Conundrum, so that's not too much of a worry. More worrying is the massive pressure they put out in an honorable 8v8 where you can't amass a minion army yourself ...
